Guiding Fees

From 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2011

The following is not an exhaustive list of all guiding fees and acts as a guideline only. Regional rates may differ.

In all cases it is best to discuss your requirements with PGS.

Guide fees are calculated on a half day or full day basis, rather than an hourly basis.
Below is the tariff sheet for the period 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2011. It is not intended to be exhaustive and you should consult our office for clarification.

		ENGLISH SPEAKING	OTHER LANGUAGE
HALF DAYS Not exceeding 4 hours. Morning tours (to finish no later than 13.00). Afternoon tours (to start no earlier than 13.30).		£145.00	£165.0
FULL DAYS Not exceeding 9 hrs and finishing no later than 18.00. Outside London: 10 hrs, finishing no later than 19.00.		£215.00	£240.00
EVENINGS Not exceeding 3 hrs.		£145.00	£165.00
OVERTIME Between the hours of 07.00 and 19.00.		£29.00	£33.00
Between the hours of 19.00 and 07.00.		£39.00	£44.00
Taxi fares may also be charged.
MULTI-LANGUAGE TOURS Any 2 languages Half day £215.00   Full day £305.00 Any 3 languages Half day £265.00   Full day £395.00
GALLERY/SPECIALIST GUIDING
Please advise number in group, as many galleries and museums have groups size restrictions.
Half day - up to 3 hours		£215.00	£230.00

CANCELLATION FEES
- With only 48 hrs notice or immediately prior to the tour a FULL cancellation fee will be charged. - 8 days prior to a tour a 50% cancellation fee will be charged. - 9 days or more prior to a tour a flat fee of £25.00 will be charged, once the guide(s) have been booked and confirmed.
SPECIAL SUPPLEMENTS
- A working microphone must be provided for the guide (the driver's fixed microphone is not suitable). If not a 100% supplement will apply. - Christmas day incurs a 100% supplement - Boxing day, New Year's Eve and Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Monday incur a 50% supplement.
